January 2012, the studio was commissioned to design an awards trophy for the latest edition of Pikasso d’Or, coinciding with Pikasso’s 25th anniversary.
The trophy re-interpreting the illustrated character from Pikasso’s original logo to reflect the new and rapidly evolving era which it inhabits.
In our times, the power of the image, coupled with advances in digital technology and its near instantaneous distribution across the globe continues to sculpt the path of history.
In 25 years the use of the billboard as a platform to inform and mirror societies has beyond doubt become a defining icon of our urban fabric and this is the legacy we have sought to capture through sculpted form.
The trophy was executed in four distinct finishes: gold, silver, bronze, and black.
