“Oggetti Sensazionali” was collaboration between a group of designer
led by Massimo Morozzi and the carpenters of the Olinda association in
Milan (ex-psychiatric hospital).
The objects that where created are to enhance the five senses. The one
related to “smell” was developed by Massimo Morozzi. Produced in
different types of wood (cypress, cedar and pear), 3 unshaped
sculptures to be used as a scent for your closet.
Karen Chekerdjian created two objects to materialize the sense of
“view”: a folding screen that was carved and perforated to see and not
be seen (inspired from the oriental Moucharabieh). The 2nd object, a
frame in mahogany that can be applied on your window glass to bring to
the fore some parts of your window view.
Veronique Demaret developed “Sound”: a box to empty your pockets from
coins and keys. Not a simple box, it amplifies the fall of objects.
And finally Nikolaus Goetsche worked on the sense of “touch”, creating
a selection of items to massage your feet and your back.
Giorgetti and Alessi sponsored the project |
